The forum will be a new edition of the ‘Grafting Cities’ series, which aims to unveil the remarkable actions our members have undertaken to “graft” their cities to accelerate their transition.
The art of grafting shows how a place can flourish by building on its assets and ‘twisting them’. Grafting a city is also a movement to transform street by street, house by house, place by place, increasing diversity and thus resilience.
Since 1990, we have been creating a community and building strong bonds among our members to work towards a climate neutral future. These connections have allowed us to build a network of committed cities to find innovative solutions and make our members feel more confident in their own transition journey.
Our strength lies in our members’ strong commitment to reach climate neutrality in their territories by 2050 and to align their local strategic development with the Paris Agreement.
